The Nuts and Bolts behing The J Tale Blog

12.08.2008: Thank you for your patience while I arrange my home-brewed site this week. I'll be adding more pages and information as soon as the ink dries.

12.15.2008 update: This week I'm tweaking my navigations to facilitate an easier flow between pages in the blog and any broken links. I'm projecting progress by the middle of the week.

12.17.2008 update: The mess behind The J Tale closet door is slowly taking shape. So far, so good, nothing has blown up in my face the last couple of days. I'm feeling over-confident and frisky. A few more minor adjustments in the next couple of days ought to do it (for now).

12.20.2008 update: The J Tale is tolerable. Like a fix-it-upper house, the roof doesn't leak, the toilet flushes, and the stove works; but it ain't pretty and needs allot more work before someone calls it home. Be that as it may, it works and I'm delighted. Today, as in right now (10 am EST), I'll be restructuring to bring it to its full "come as is" glory. This may take a few hours, so thanks for hanging in here with me.

12.22.2008 update: I began cleaning up some coding debris in my files. While the general code structure works, it is not up to standards. I'm also adding a few comments to my templates to track what is used where and when.

12.23.2008 update: I found a neat powerpoint slide show I want to share. The goal is to test how to embed the slide show, write an entry, and continue getting the code up to standards. Eventually it should payout when I want to redecorate the place.

01.01.2009 update: Al's brother decided to spread his good cheer for the holidays, so I've been sick. Great timing to be flat on my back, but not so great to get some work done. Today is substandard, but there's enough life in me to get working and writing again.

01.09.2009 update: Still not well enough to do much of anything except a few minor changes not worth speaking of. My apologies, but that is life of a full-time sick person.

01.12.2009 update: There is a technical problem with my computer management system to allow comments and community interation. I'm not sure of the solution; however, I am working on it.

01.27.2009 update: Ah, the wonders of the learning curve. At last I believe I see light at the end of the tunnel. I'll find out this week. Once again, I'll be making many internal changes with the hopes of very little interruptions.
